SAGE INSTITUTE FOR ENVIRONMENT, CREATIVITY, & CONSCIOUSNESS (2009-2012). Board of Directors. Coproduced and hosted live programming related to human consciousness and creative expression, including projects with Be Here Now author Ram Dass, 1960s consciousness pioneer Ralph Metzner, PBS documentarians Kell Kearns and Cynthia Lukas, and Guggenheim Award winning composer Paul Rudy. SAGE is an educational nonprofit affiliate of the University of New Mexico-Taos.

SOMOS—THE SOCIETY OF THE MUSE OF THE SOUTHWEST (2008-2009). Curated, produced, and hosted acclaimed authors’ reading series, often to sold-out audiences, for oldest literary nonprofit in New Mexico. Bookings included national best-selling authors such as Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, Natalie Goldberg, Hampton Sides, John Nichols, and Pam Houston.

VIDEO LIBRARIAN (2007). Catalogued and ran video library in Santa Cruz la Laguna, a Mayan village in the Guatemalan highlands.

LOS ANGELES FREEWAVES INDEPENDENT VIDEO FESTIVAL (1998). Curated “Cultures Crash” and “Space Age Video Cocktail” programs of alternative video art.  

LOS ANGELES INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL (1996). Programmed documentaries and multicultural feature films for LA’s first independent film festival.

INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY ASSOCIATION (1994-1996). Juried annual IDA Distinguished Documentary Achievement Awards.
